SARNIA, Ontario — The stars were out across the CCAA over the last seven days.
Last week gave fans a bit of everything. From players flirting with triple-double performances to a plethora of double-doubles across the country, there were several impressive stat lines. A pair of 50-point performances highlighted the week, one coming from the OCAA and one from the PacWest.
In terms of team performances, the top teams in the CCAA put forth dominant performances to remain atop the rankings. The SAIT Trojans picked up a 20-point win on their home court to remain undefeated and hold down the top ranking in the CCAA for another week. Out east, the Holland Hurricanes continued their dominance on the rest of the ACAA with a pair of wins that came by at least 55 points.
The usual suspects were at the forefront of the action this week, but there were several other players who put forth strong performances to carry their teams.
Five players from each conference stood out among their fellow competitors, and those players make up this week’s edition of the Starting Five.
