SARNIA, Ontario — Exam season is in full swing across the country.
Friday night marked the end of the first semester for basketball across the CCAA. Teams from the RSEQ and OCAA were in action in Ontario and Quebec looking for one last boost of momentum ahead of the holiday break. The Dawson Blues were looking to remain unbeaten with a win over the Nomades de Montmorency to solidify their top ranking in the CCAA, while the Redeemer Royals were looking to complete a perfect 2-0 week in Ontario.
While the week provided little in terms of a shakeup in the standings, it did provide fans with several impressive performances from players and teams alike. From double-doubles to 30-point outbursts, the week provided some excitement despite just a handful of games being played.
In fact, five players from both leagues stood out above the rest over the week, and these players make up this week’s edition of the Starting Five.
