CALGARY, Alta. — College Court Report (CCR) Canada has formed its first partnership, and it’s one that we’re excited to announce.
CCR Canada has partnered with Performance Connection for the 2019-20 season, and beyond. The partnership was formed after months of dialogue, and the match makes sense on both sides.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Performance Connection,” said CCR Canada founder Tyler Bennett. “Both entities are trying to gain ground in their respective industry in different regions of Canada, so the partnership makes perfect sense from a growth standpoint.”
“With one of Performance Connection’s areas of focus set on post-secondary students and their transition to the collegiate level, we hope that this can bring more awareness to the services that they can offer these student-athletes.”
Performance Connection will be the presenting sponsor for both of our national Power Rankings, the CCAA Top 15 Power Rankings and U Sports Top 10 Power Rankings, as well as the Player of the Year Fan Vote at year’s end.
Performance Connection is a Calgary-based company that was founded by Ken King, who also serves as an Assistant Coach with the women’s basketball program for the Mount Royal Cougars.
As King pointed out, Performance Connection works in three key areas:
- Culture building in companies and teams
- 1-on-1 consultation with athletes transitioning to post secondary sport in all sports (on all aspects of the transition such as mental and physical training, choosing a program, and planning for the off season before their freshman year).
- Sport and Performance Based management of offices and clinics in order to make them more efficient and profitable.
Three key words can be found on the home page of their website.
Learn. Connect. Perform.
All three words go hand-in-hand with one another. To connect better, you need to first learn. In order to perform, one needs to have connections. Lastly, if one wants to perform at a high level, they need to learn how to succeed and how to connect with others to have a positive work environment.
Performance Connection can help individuals and companies alike in all three key areas. Whether it’s to improve culture, efficiency, profitability, or another variable, King and the team at Performance Connection want to help.
Located in Calgary, Alberta, King is looking to grow his business through helping you grow your company for the better. Visit performandconnect.com to learn more about what they do, and be sure to sign up for their mailing list to stay in the loop.
The National Power Rankings will begin on Monday, November 4th, and run through the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.
